This author is qualified because he graduated from Eastern Michigan University
and works as a publisher for a well known company. This is an informational
report for a lay person just trying to find out about the field and what a
person needs to become a lawyer.
The author is trying to agrue that being a lawyer is a great field
to take and you can make alot of money in the field.
He provides information on what a lawyer does and how a person can
become a lawyer which helps to explain things a lot more to the reader. He
covers the topic of what the job is and the wages that you could be making.
He uses actually infromation in a book using statistics as well as
research.
The work seems logical and clear and the topic is adequately addressed.
He is more towards trying to infrom the reader of what the job is.
This source is helpful because it tells me what im going to have to do at
my internship and what i would have to do if i decided that this is the
field i would like to work in.

David Bender's qualifications are he is a on on air radio host and he also was involved in Robert F.
Kennedy's presidential campaign. He has more than thirty years of
experience in politics, government, and entertainment. This seems to be an
informational report and a persuasive piece but the authors include both
sides of the views and does not seem to take any of the sides. The author
seems to be an expert in the field. Their seems to be two thesis one
stating that juveniles should not be charged as adults and the other is
saying that juveniles should be charged as adults. The author does not take
any sides, just explains both sides of the argument with good information.
The main arguments are that juveniles should not be charged as adults
because they are to young to think about things as much as an adult can.
Also that juveniles should know what they are doing and that when the
commit these serious crimes that they knowwhat they are doing wrong but
they just do them. The author incorporates examples of juveniles being
charged as adults and shows examples of how giving closer attention to the
juveniles would help them out in the long run. Also that should be
accountable for their actions just as adults should be, especially with
severe crimes. The work is logical and very well researched. The topic has
also adequately been addressed. The author takes a objective stance. I
learned a lot about both sides of the stories and this will help me to
discourage the people who feel that juveniles should be charged as adults
and so that i can disprove or help to show them that juveniles should not
be charged as adults.

The topic of juveniles not being aloud to be charged as adults is represented very well. I learned that juveniles are different people then adults and are more susceptible to violence in adult jails. Also I learned that they charging more and more juveniles as adults as years go by. They include a chart to show this increase which helps to support their argument. This helped me develop my argument by giving me a chart with statistics I can use to help get my argument across to my audience.

There is no author for the book. this is an informational report for an
expert in the field. There is no authors thesis because their is no author
and the book contains both sides of the argument between juveniles be
charged as adults. Some topics that this book covers is that there are
people who follow those who believe it is OK to charge juveniles as adults
as well as saying that charging them as adults is unconstitutional and
immoral. Also it says that some people think the justice system is to
lenient on the juveniles. Their is no one side of the argument for this
book it has both sides of the story. The two main arguments that support my
argument is saying that it is unconstitutional and immoral to charge
juveniles as adults. This work is logical, clear, and definitely well
researched. The topic has adequately been addressed from both sides.
The book does not take any sides in this argument. I learned that people
think that charging minors as adults is unconstitutional and that their are
people who believe just like me that juveniles are not fully developed
enough to survive in adult jail as well as fully mature enough to decide
adult situations as much an adult would be. This source helped to give me a
few new ideas of why it is wrong to charge juveniles as adults.

expert in the field. There is no authors thesis because their is no author
and the book contains both sides of the argument between juveniles be
charged as adults. This work is logical and the topic is adequate.I learned from this source that juveniles do in fact have a lack of brain development compared to adults and should not be looked at as mature or smart enough mentally to know right from wrong as well as an adult would. The evidence they use to support this argument is by including that their is now biological evidence that juveniles do not have the same ability as adults do to decide weather an action is wrong or right and this should be proof to the juvenile system that their should be no reason for anyone under the age of 18 to be charged as adults. It also talks about how juveniles are less mature and more susceptible to doing something wrong if they are told to or forced to then adults would be. The information in this source helped me to have proof for my argument that juveniles are not the same mentally as adults are in that they do not know right from wrong as well as adults and should not have their life depend on something they did when they were not fully developed yet.

charged as adults. This work is logical and the topic is adequate. What I got from this chapter is that juveniles need to be taken care of in order to protect citizens. This is an argument of the book that I am not that sure of but I am going to use this as my counterargument. There is also a quote in this chapter that I have decided to use in my Animoto when I get to that point. This helped to show me that their are many counterarguments I can go against to help prove my point even more. In my opinion I do not believe that juveniles are anywhere near as much of a nascence and a problem for citizens as adults. They need to stop trying to blame everything on juveniles for why our citizens don't feel safe. I will disprove this counterargument and help to prove that juveniles are not the same as adults mentally and physically.

What I learned in this chapter was about the harsh and disgusting conditions people live with in adult jail. and how horrible this conditions could be for juveniles. They are not physical strong enough nor mentally to handle the conditions given to adults and the conditions they create for themselves. Juveniles go in as the youngest people in their and are sometimes the first to go after. This supports my argument because juveniles should not be sent to adults jail because they will not last and the adults will bully and torture the live of the juveniles because of their ages and sizes. This source helped me to develop an argument by I am going to use the fact that the adults jails situation is not something that a juvenile could survive with if anything were to make the adults with him begin to pick on him. They most likely will not have anything they can do because of how much older and bigger the adults are compared to the juveniles.

What I in this chapter is about how it is "immoral" to charge juveniles as adults and how it messes with the juveniles mentally and physically in way that they feel like they have no hope. Charging juveniles as adults can make them more violent when they were and teach them the wrong things. Once a juvenile has been convicted as an adult they become hopeless which leads to more violent adults and or could affect the child in a way that they become unaware of how the real world is and just end up back in prison. I will use this in my project by using it as one of my arguments on why adults should not be charged as adults. This supports my argument and can show anyone who is for charging juveniles as adults how bad of a choice it could be.

The authors credentials are that she is the online communications director at the Constitutional Accountability Center and that she is also the blog writer for warming law. Her purpose of the work is an informational report as well as an overview. She seems to be in an expert in the field and knows what she is talking about. The author takes the same side of my topic. She seems to be arguing for the most part that more juveniles should not be charged as adults. The main arguments being used is the growth in cases involving violent crimes committed by juveniles and how she believes that if they were charged as adults, and received harsher punishment they would do it again. The evidence that she uses is statistics stating how much the amount of juveniles being charged as adults with violent crime has grown immensely in only a few years. What she says about supporting my argument is how some juveniles could be innocent and be charged, ruining a young child's life without being completely sure of what had happened. This work is logical and well researched. The topic has been adequately addressed and the author seems to be motivated to argue her position of charging more juveniles as adults. I learned from this source about how the crime rate involving juveniles has skyrocketed in the last decade and something needs to be done to stop this. It talks about how this could ruin a child life at such a young age especially if the juvenile was later found not guilty. This information helped me think about another argument that I could use and also help me think about why they don't just charge the juveniles more harshly, in some kind of higher level, rather than going straight to adulthood.

The authors credentials are that she is the firm founder of A. LaVelle Consulting Services and she is also a senior reporter for Chicago. Her purpose of this work is an informational report. She seems to be an expert in most of the field and knows what she is talking about. The author does not take any sides. The main argument is to think about how harshly these juveiniles are being treated and the author is trying to get you to chose which side you would like to take. The evidence she uses is statistics as well as interviews that she believed were important. What she says about my supporting argument is how juveniles are being put into harsh living styles that they are not preparred for emotionally or physically and this effects their life drastically. The topic has been adequately addressed and the author seems to want to make sure the reader understands the topic and picks their own poing of view on the subject. I learned from this source how people in this situation felt and how much it can affect them so drastically and how these teens need help to get back on the right track in life. This information helped me to think about the children involved and how they feel about these situations. This kids are the ones who are effected the most and are the ones who need help getting back on track. Puting them in a adult jail will just make them feel as if their is nothing left and keep them on the wrong path they have already taken.
